Temporary Service Changes
On Monday, May 18th, Massachusetts Governor Baker announced the reopening of churches under given guidelines. Below are the steps we will be taking to do our part of re-opening in-person services while still maintaining health and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19. These guidelines must be followed for anyone planning to attend a service. Please read.
Phase 1 of re-opening in-person services will begin on Sunday, May 31st.
Social Distancing- Social distancing guidelines of 6 feet between persons must be maintained at all times.
Attendance- Attendance will be limited to 40% occupancy
Seating- Attendees who are not part of the same immediate household must be seated at least 6 feet apart. Members of the same immediate household are permitted to sit together
Refreshments- There will be no refreshments before or after service.
Nursery & Children’s Classes- There will be no Children’s Sunday School classes,Children’s Junior Church, or nursery.
Masks- Masks must be worn to and during service, including during singing. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you and must be worn to enter.
Health Symptoms- Anyone who is feeling sick, or exhibiting any of the following symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell), or have potentially been exposed to someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19, then they should not attend services in-person.
